Hello, my name is Karen Varelli and I started the company Head Cases making comforting pillow cases for children.  My inspiration for my Good Dream Pillow came from my 9 year old son.  When he was two, he was afraid to go to sleep because he might have a bad dream.  At first I would tell him that we would turn his pillow over to the good dream side.  After several months of this working, we went to the store and bought a blank pillow case and some permanent markers.  I wrote the words GOOD DREAM SIDE and drew a moon and some stars.  Then, I let him decorate it as well.  Well, he still has this pillow and sleeps on it every night.    Several years later I decided I could mass produce these for other children to enjoy.  Now I have started my own company.
